Fast and Healthy Egg Nog

This Egg Nog is a nice alternative to the traditional high sugar, high fat version.  Made with your choice of plant milk mixed with chia seeds to add thickness, this egg nog is satisfying and you won’t feel a bit guilty indulging.  Sprinkle with a bit of nutmeg and enjoy at your next holiday party or curled up on the couch at home enjoying the holiday lights. 

Eggnog

  • 6 cups non dairy milk of your choice
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 tsp. tumeric
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
 


Instructions

In a high speed blender add one cup non dairy milk and the chia seeds blend on high until the chia becomes very fine. Now add the remaining milk and all of the ingredients. Taste. Adjust to your liking. Serve well chilled.
