Satisfy your chocolate craving AND get a serving of leafy greens in. We should all be trying to consume lots of leafy greens like spinach because they contain healthy nitrates which can help prevent cardiovascular disease by supporting the cells that line our blood vessels. Cherries are anti-inflammatory and since they have a low glycemic index compared to other fruits so they are a good choice for smoothies. Enjoy!!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups spinach, fresh
- 2 cups almond milk, unsweetened
- 2 cups cherries, pitted
- 2 bananas
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbs cacao powder
INSTRUCTIONS
Blend spinach and almond milk until smooth. Next, add the remaining fruits and blend again.
